By creating a TASFRL membership account, submitting information on this website, or requesting TASFRL services, you hereby provide informed consent to the following:


1. Consent to Receive Communications

You consent to receive communications relating to:

  • Membership updates and renewals

  • Service-related notices, scheduling, and field operations

  • Workshops, training, programs, events

  • Grant-related surveys or follow-up (when applicable)

  • Organizational or policy updates required by the Bylaws

You may opt out of general communications at any time. Service-critical communications cannot be opted out of.


2. Consent to Data Collection and Use

You consent to TASFRL collecting, storing, and using your information as described in the Privacy Statement, and consistent with Appendix B (Confidentiality) and Exhibit E (Document Retention).

This includes the use of information for:

  • Membership administration

  • Program and service delivery

  • Field assessments, mapping, or documentation

  • Research, evaluation, and reporting to funders (with identifying details removed whenever possible)


3. Consent for Field-Based Activities

If you request or authorize TASFRL to perform assessments, forestry/agriculture services, drone mapping, brush clearing, or related land management operations, you consent that:

  • TASFRL personnel and contractors may enter designated property areas

  • Drone/imagery data may be collected for service delivery purposes

  • Notes, photographs, GPS information, and documentation may be retained under Exhibit E (Document Retention)

  • You will identify any hazards, restricted zones, livestock, or sensitive areas beforehand

TASFRL will not publish, distribute, or disclose property images or maps without your express written permission unless required by law.


4. Consent to Acknowledgment of Obligations

You acknowledge that participation in TASFRL programs may require agreements, waivers, or additional terms (e.g., Service Agreements, Liability Waivers, Membership Terms). You agree to abide by such terms as a condition of participation.


5. Electronic Agreement

By clicking “I Agree,” you provide legally binding electronic consent under the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
