Purpose
Established in 2017, Texas AgriForestry Small Farmers, Ranchers, and Landowners (TASFRL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in East Texas’ verdant Piney Woods bioregion, renowned for its rich timber resources and agricultural heritage. As a grassroots coalition of both new and seasoned farmers, ranchers, and landowners, TASFRL unites diverse experiences and shared values to advance sustainable land stewardship. The organization is dedicated to supporting and empowering small producers, especially those from historically underserved communities through education, resource access, networking, and the promotion of regenerative agricultural and forestry practices. Together, we work to foster environmental responsibility, economic resilience, and community well-being for current and future generations.
