We envision a thriving and resilient rural future across Texas and beyond where every land steward, regardless of background, works together to restore the land, strengthen communities, and build regenerative abundance for people and the planet.
Purpose
Founded in 2017, Texas AgriForestry Small Farmers, Ranchers, and Landowners (TASFRL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in East Texas’ Piney Woods, a region known for its rich timberlands and agricultural heritage. We are a grassroots coalition of new and seasoned farmers, ranchers, and landowners committed to advancing sustainable and regenerative land stewardship. TASFRL supports and empowers small producers, especially those who have been historically underserved through education, resource access, networking, and practical, on-the-ground assistance. Together, we work to strengthen environmental responsibility, economic resilience, and community well-being for current and future generations.
